Tiger Cub

Tiger Beer Cub Bottle Malayan Breweries

With the ravages of World War Two, Tiger Beer faced a severe shortage of raw materials. Hence, a lighter beer called Tiger Cub was brewed.

Tiger Cub beer was brewed and sold to the public until 1947 when it was retired to make way for the real Tiger Beer.

In January of 1947, APB ran print advertisements in cartoon format to prepare for the return of the full-strength brew. With this print advertisement, Tiger Beer returned to the scene.
